BLURB : The case is closed. Five years ago, schoolgirl Andie Bell was murdered by Sal Singh. The police know he did it. Everyone in town knows he did it. But having grown up in the same small town that was consumed by the crime, Pippa Fitz-Amobi isn’t so sure. When she chooses the case as the topic for her final project, she starts to uncover secrets that someone in town desperately wants to stay hidden. And if the real killer is still out there, how far will they go to keep Pip from the truth . . . ?

From the beginning i thought the main suspect was Max Hastings but then around page 320 i thought Andie was alive and i just couldn’t guess anymore as everyone looked guilty. It was so amazing, I felt like i was researching this for my own EPQ.

I actually read it in 2 days as i just couldn’t put it down ,especially in the last 100 pages , as if i went to bed i knew i wouldn’t sleep due to thinking about it. It was my first thriller book due to my anxiety over the years, however i think i am now converted to the dark side , Haha, and will definitely be picking up more books like this as i absolutely LOVED it.

The characterisation was perfect, I fell in love with Pip and Ravi and strongly felt their emotions with them. Although it is fiction, the topics of Murder ,rape, mental health, missing people and grief are all real life problems that were dealt with realistically.

I particularly enjoyed the different media included with the chapter style as it felt like a real crime investigation, the story flowed great and was an easy fast paced read.
