YA BOOK REVIEW: THE HENNA WARS

Hi,

Today I am reviewing The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar which I give a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ .5 rating.

This was a great coming out and coming of age book. That deals with culture, LGBTQ+ , family and friendships in a great way.

The sister bond between Nishat and Priti was beautifully written showing the highs and lows of day to day life.

I like Flavia and Pritis relationship as they’re both unique and strong females.

The idea of the business competition was interesting and I enjoyed the creative aspect of the henna stalls.

Overall this is a great easy book to read that I would recommend for anyone 10+.
